Identification Features | Members of the Brisingidae have distinct arches present on the dorsal - proximal part of the arm, whereas the Freyellidae do not. In the North East Atlantic this morophotype this will be either Brisinga endecacnemos or Hymenodiscus coronata. The two are depth separated off the UK (See Howell et al., 2004) but very difficult to tell appart. |
